The importance of the emotional body, as a layout for sacred sexuality and neo-tantric work.

Updated: Mar 28

We are emotional creatures, and we were born to express emotions freely and openly. Somewhere along the way, however, many of us learned to repress emotions, especially those deemed “negative,” in order to fit in, earn love, and be accepted.

Pretty much every day I get a message, WhatsApp, email, etc. From a wife or a husband that contains one single question or call for help. "I want to feel more pleasure in my sexual life", "I want to have more orgasms" My answer is always the same... Everybody wants to feel more pleasure in life but only a few are willing to commit to the process. Are you willing to?

The first step to feeling more is actually learning to feel, by getting in touch with your emotional body, recognizing your emotions, accepting them, and above all, feeling them no matter how uncomfortable they are. To honor them and learn from them.

However, humans have become experts in denying their emotions and pretending to be happy hippies just for the sake of looking good on social media lifestyle feeds. "Look at me I am so happy I party a lot" "Look at me I have the life I want I am a digital nomad" "Look at me I have it all figured out" But you really don't.

Also, that's so 2000s! what's in now is to be vulnerable on social media, that's why I love the new generations! I love TikTok and the new age of authenticity, unlike IG which is for pretending, or FB where old people come to judge, complain, or take it all on someone they don't even know.

When we experience events that emotionally overwhelm us and we’re unable to process what is happening, accept our emotions, and express them through our body and mind, we hide them deep inside us where others can’t see them. And we end up hiding them from ourselves too. Yet, they’re still there. We do this most often with difficult emotions like shame, fear, or anger.

So many years of pretending and denying your emotions block your capacity to feel, yes also of feeling pleasure. This is on the physical side, on the energetical side, our core of emotions is located in the stomach, when we decide not to feel certain emotions they get pushed down, what's down? yes, your genital area, that's where they get stuck for years promoting numbness and leaving us hyperesthetic and anorgasmic.

When we chronically repress emotions, we create toxicity in our body, mind, and heart. The unresolved emotions get trapped in our body where they build and fester, draining our energy, leading to burnout, emotional imbalance, and eventually mental and physical disease.
