Self Love Ritual

Self-love paves the way to a positive mindset which is an essential ingredient for success in life and for mental wellbeing. Self-love also means loving your body, soul, and mind.

Some people equate self-love with selfishness. But self-love is realizing that we are only human and it is okay to make mistakes; it is okay to lose at times; it is okay to not have the best day…week…or month, it's ok if Facebook and Instagram are down. 

 

If you start loving your body and mind more, you will not work by choice during weekends; you will rather go do some other activity that relaxes your mind. If you had a hard day at work, take a long break and good care of yourself.

 

Put yourself on top of your priority list, think highly of yourself and everyone will reflect that back.

The truth is, we all like to spread the love, but the question is — do we have enough love for our own selves?

 

We cannot always expect to rely only on external sources for love and that is where the concept of self-love comes in. A person who practices self-love will never need to depend on others to be happy and it is an empowering feeling to be happy on the inside.

Do you say yes when you really mean no? Do you break promises to yourself or neglect your self-care? Is it hard to put yourself first?

 

If so, it’s time to give yourself the most important gift ever… Self-love.

When you make decisions out of guilt, a need to please or to avoid conflict, you overvalue the needs of others and disrespect yourself. This conveys—to yourself and those around you—that you accept very little. That doesn’t feel very good, does it?

 

“Your relationship with yourself sets the tone for every other relationship you have” 

Self-love is your secret weapon to living a fulfilling life. That’s because your inner world creates your outer world. Before you can receive love and respect from others, you need to love and respect yourself.

The intention of this ritual is to understand what really means to love ourselves, by peeling off the layers of Self to find the deeper meaning of Love. We will journey through our emotional, energetical, and physical bodies and connect with our higher self to understand what our soul is longing for.

The main components of this ritual are higher-self invocation, emotional body inquiry, energetical touch and physical self-pleasure.

Learning to love yourself reduces stress, lessens procrastination and makes you more focused at work. 

 

A lot of studies have also shown that self-love is the key to mental wellbeing and it keeps depression and anxiety at bay. 

 

But Self-love has many benefits; the most important benefit is greater life satisfaction. When we love ourselves more we instantly change our perspective of the world. Self-love can give us a more positive attitude toward life.
